There are three membership grades - Fellow, Member and Associate. Applications will be assessed by the IKT's Membership & Professional Standards Committee. The IKT is a professional body which prides itself of recognising the contribution its members have made to the KT sector.

  • FELLOW - the most senior membership grade awarded by the IKT for outstanding professional achievement and contribution to the furtherance of the Knowledge Transfer profession.
  • FULL MEMBER - a membership grade for those professionals with more than four years experience in Knowledge Transfer.
  • ASSOCIATE MEMBER - the associate membership grade is intended for those people with less than four years experience in the field, or those who have an active interest in Knowledge Transfer.


Fees paid by individual members qualify for income tax relief.
