There are three membership grades - Fellow, Member and Associate. Applications will be assessed by the IKT's Membership & Professional Standards Committee. The IKT is a professional body which prides itself of recognising the contribution its members have made to the KT sector.
- FELLOW - the most senior membership grade awarded by the IKT for outstanding professional achievement and contribution to the furtherance of the Knowledge Transfer profession.
- FULL MEMBER - a membership grade for those professionals with more than four years experience in Knowledge Transfer.
- ASSOCIATE MEMBER - the associate membership grade is intended for those people with less than four years experience in the field, or those who have an active interest in Knowledge Transfer.
- Fellowship is £100 annually
- Full Membership is £75 annually
- Associate Membership is £56 annually
- Retired Members pay £56 annually
